fosterflora studio is the creative practice of Polish-Tasmanian botanical artist Jessika Kreps Foster, creating watercolour art inspired by Tasmania’s flora and the fauna connected to it.
From wildflowers to birds and bees, Jessika captures stories through earthy tones, whimsical, vintage-inspired compositions rich in symbolism.
Each artwork is painted at Jessika’s Salamanca Arts Centre studio or en plein air in nature. At the stall, you’ll find art prints, calendars and one-of-a-kind originals, with selected works framed in vintage frames.
After moving to Tasmania in 2020, Jessika gradually left her architectural career to follow her creative path. Growing up on a flower farm in Poland and selling flowers at markets alongside her father, shaped her lifelong love of plants, heritage and market life.
fosterflora celebrates Australia’s botanical beauty through little treasures of art, designed to be taken home or gifted, allowing its flora to bloom forever as a memory on your wall.
