Pure Oils of Tasmania
Pure Oils of Tasmania is a family-owned stall at Salamanca Market, run by mother and daughter duo Carey Badcoe and Josie Hannan. They grow, harvest, and distill native Tasmanian plants to create pure essential oils and natural products that celebrate the island’s unique botanical heritage.
Their oils crafted from Kunzea, Manuka, Blue Gum, and Lavender Tea Tree are known for their therapeutic and medicinal benefits. Alongside oils, they offer soothing creams, refreshing spritzers, and eco-friendly felt dryer balls that extend oil life and reduce drying time.
Every product is chemical-free and infused with the clean air, rich soil, and pristine climate of Tasmania. Inspired by the healing power of these scents, Carey founded the business in 2018, later joined by Josie. Together, they collaborate with horticulturalists and wild foragers to bring a beautifully-scented piece of Tasmania’s wilderness into homes around the world.
