At Salamanca Yum Cha, family, food, and culture unite in every handmade dumpling. What began in a home kitchen as a way to share the comfort of traditional Cantonese cooking with friends and neighbours has grown into one of Salamanca Market’s most beloved stalls.

The team takes pride in using ethically sourced, free-range pork from a trusted East Coast Tasmanian farm, paired with crisp, locally grown vegetables. Each dumpling is individually folded by hand in the traditional Cantonese style and pan-fried on-site to perfection.

The stall is truly a family endeavour, with every member contributing, from folding dumplings at dawn to greeting customers with a warm smile.
