Saltworks

Saltworks is a small jewellery studio, making pieces shaped by the Tasmanian coast and wilderness.

At the stall, you'll find sand-cast rings in sterling silver and bronze, some with raw Tasmanian sapphires or black spinel cast in place. There are also stacking rings in sterling silver, gold-filled and brass; alongside art cards and postcards of our coastline.

Everything is designed and made by hand. Sand casting is an old, slow process that gives each piece its own texture and small irregularities, so no two pieces are quite the same.

Saltworks grew from years of photographing Tasmanian places and a background in fine arts. Every piece is a small keepsake of the island, to wear every day or give to someone who loves it too.
