Mils Market is a herbal apothecary, natural dyeing, and paper-making studio based in South Hobart.
The studio creates everything by hand in small batches from Bug Balms and Beetroot Lip Tints to its signature Herbal Salve, showcasing the benefits of hemp and rosemary.
Mils Market approaches fabric dyeing a little differently, using real flowers, leaves, and a hammer to create one-of-a-kind botanical prints on reusable produce bags.
The studio also produces its own handmade recycled paper, giving scraps from the business a second life.
Founded in 2022, Mils Market grew from a passion for herbalism, plants, and sharing the many ways they can be incorporated into everyday life.
Since establishing itself in Tasmania, the state's seasons and landscape have naturally become an integral part of the studio's work. Operating from a small studio beneath Kunanyi / Mount Wellington, Mils Market works with seasonal flowers and foliage, resulting in pieces that change throughout the year and ensure that no two creations are ever exactly the same.
