Based in Lower Snug, Cal is an illustrator and graphic designer with a passion for Tasmania's unique wildlife and native plants. Her business began when she wanted to send Christmas cards that reflected the place she calls home, but found very few available. So, she decided to create her own. Today, Cal produces greeting cards for all occasions, along with fine art prints, wrapping paper, tea towels and tote bags, all inspired by Tasmania's remarkable flora and fauna.
Cal's Tasmanian wildlife cards are printed in Hobart on 100% recycled cardstock and feature both common and Latin species names on the back. The inside is left blank for personal messages, and cards are shipped free Australia-wide.
Sustainability is at the heart of Cal's business. She is committed to keeping her products and packaging plastic-free and environmentally responsible. Cards and prints are packaged in home-compostable cellophane, displayed on bespoke stands, and her tote bags are printed locally on certified organic cotton, making them both ethical and practical.
