Petra Menzies is a multi disciplinary artist who utilises many artistic mediums, which include printmaking, pyrography (burning artwork into wood), drawing, painting, ceramics and fibre craft.
She incorporates these styles under the umbrella of her business Disenchantia.
Disenchantia is a world of enchanted expression with a dark mystical aura that encapsulates a connection to nature with a deep respect and love for the Tasmanian wilderness.
The primary focus of Disenchantia is to promote a love of our beautiful natural environment using traditional methods and techniques to produce art and craft. Disenchantia has small run hand screen printed Tshirts, ceramics, artwork and designer fabric. Everything is designed and hand made by Petra with a passion for creating art and craft.
