About Us

We are Lakker Chocolatiers, an artisanal chocolaterie, based in Hobart Tasmania.  With its temperature, maritime climate, relatively mild winters and low humidity, Hobart is the perfect place for making confectionery.  Since 2022, we are pursuing our dream to bring Australia & beyond the finest modern confectionery.

'Lakker’ means divine in our chocolatier's hometown of Antwerp, Belgium.  A term the locals give something that is made by an artisan who is passionate about their craft and has perfected recipes over the years.  When it is Lakker, it will be delicious!

Our Vision

At Lakker, our passion for all things chocolate dictates that we only source the world's best.  We showcase the finest local and Australian ingredients, use sustainable, traceable and fairtrade cocoa.  We handmake modern Australian confectionery crafted with tradition, passion, love, innovation and creativity; with the aim to make a little dose of magic in every bite.
