Sarah's in Stitches
Sarah’s in Stitches is a small Tasmanian business, owned and operated by Sarah in Hobart. Every piece is designed and individually handmade by Sarah and when you visit the stall at Salamanca Market you’re meeting the maker herself. From designing and selecting materials to cutting, sewing and finishing each piece.
At the stall you’ll find a changing collection of handmade bags, wallets, clutches, card holders, purses, cosmetic and toiletry bags, glasses cases, key fobs, notebook covers and other accessories, created using leather, locally sourced upholstery leather offcuts, hair-on cowhide, cork, vinyl and beautiful fabrics.
Sarah’s in Stitches grew from a love of sewing, creating and thinking outside the box. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind or made in small quantities, with new designs always being developed.

Sarah’s in Stitches also has a home-based studio in Lenah Valley, Hobart, available to visit by appointment. Customers are welcome to arrange a time to browse available stock, discuss custom orders, or choose materials to create something made especially for them.
