The Crafty Brum

Kate, the artist behind The Crafty Brum, creates Tasmanian-themed artwork, often with botanical elements. She creates prints, cards, magnets and original artworks.  Kate’s work is created using acrylic, watercolour, collage and digital mediums.

Kate’s work celebrates everything Tasmanian; think, gum nut blossoms blooming on a warm day, Hobart’s favourite beers and of course, Neil the seal.

Kate’s aim is to create vibrant works that she hopes bring joy to people’s homes. Kate’s designs are perfect for tourists and locals alike, purchased as gifts or holiday mementos.

Kate, originally from Adelaide, spent almost a decade in Birmingham (Brum) England, where she established herself as a visual artist, exhibiting and selling work.

Kate consistently felt the pull back home, and seeing the world sparked real appreciation for how wonderful home is. Kate now calls Cremorne home.

Kate paints, illustrates, prints and packages her products from her studio in Cremorne.
