Each Saturday a dedicated crew of volunteers can be found at the market.

Our volunteers play an important role in welcoming people to the market and offering helpful advice if you have any questions. They have a market map on hand and can help if you are trying to locate a particular stall, assist with wheel chair hire, or help you find the closest toilets or ATMs. 

They can also help with information about Hobart and surrounds and with travel ideas and suggestions.

Our volunteers are located at the information booth, which can be found at the main entrance to the market and easily spotted when you enter from the walking along the waterfront. You will also find our volunteers roving throughout the market and they will be more than happy to stop and help you.

Our volunteers have been an invaluable asset during the COVID-19 restrictions, where they played an important role in helping us maintain a safe event. We cannot thank them enough.
