In 2017 Custom Iron purchased licensed site 178: 4m x 4m. It's a cherished site, grass side, close to Salamanca Fresh - in that central market hub zone.

My licence allows a vast scope of wrought iron metal fabrication. I make furniture, hardware, landscape & sculptural pieces including materials of metal, wood, masonry. As well as a 10% jewellery allocation.

I embedded myself at Salamanca Market to build a reputation as an Artisan Blacksmith.

The Saturday site is a fabulous shop front where as well as point of sales I generate metal orders. I've gained fabulous new & repeat customers from all over Tasmania, Australia plus international visitors.

With deep regret - I need to hang up my tongs at Salamanca due to physical limitations. This is a site only sale.

Please note that a site fee per market day is payable to the City of Hobart to be invoiced on a quarterly basis.
