Old School Kitchen


Old School Kitchen is Eloise Emmett’s kitchen studio and workshop and cooking class venue in one of the original old farmhouses in Tolosa Street Glenorchy, a convenient 15 minute drive from the Hobart CBD.

Eloise is a diploma qualified photographer and trade qualified chef with over twenty years experience in commercial kitchens and loves sharing her professional skills and passion for wholesome, local, seasonal food.

Eloise has published six cookbooks with another on the way. The books have won seven international and national cookbook awards and are all now printed in Australia.

The cookbook rnage includes The Real Food for Kids Cookbook, Seafood Everyday, The Tasmania Pantry, The Tasmania Pantry 2, Packed and Celebrate. The books are full of recipes for delicious, affordable, healthy meals created to whip up easily in the home kitchen, as a busy mum herself she understands the challenges of ensuring the family eats well in a hectic lifestyle.
