RECOLAB (repurposed, eco-friendly, collaborative laboratory) is a small business specialising in making bags and other accessories from repurposed materials.
Sail fabric which has reached the end of its' days on the high seas is one of the mainstay materials they work with as well as billboard skins, abandoned festival tents, street banners, theatre seat upholstery and pond liner (among others).
Basically, if they can divert material from ending up in landfill and turn it into something useful and long-lasting, they will!
