This year ANZAC Day falls on Saturday, 25 April 2026. Out of respect, Salamanca Market will not be held on Saturday, 25 April, and will instead be held on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
Sunday Salamanca Market
Drawn Under a Mountain is a small design and clothing business striving to do some creative good in the world.
Trading at the market since 2021, stallholder Anthony says he achieves this via sustainable, ethical practices and by supporting charities and organisations that share his environmental, humanitarian and animal justice values.
From his home based studio in West Hobart (and the market every second Saturday - see his website for dates) Anthony designs, prints and sells limited-run, GOTS certified organic & Fair Wear audited t-shirts & totes.
The inspiration behind Anthony's designs are broad - but, the quirks of lutruwita/Tasmania, environmental issues, First Nations recognition and the human condition always rise to the fore. A deep love of Japanese visual culture occasionally gets his synapses firing too (a love formed over many years and many visits).
Come and say hello to Anthony at the Davey St end of the market (beneath the brooding gaze of kunanyi/Mt Wellington).
