Sunday Salamanca Market

Join us at Salamanca Market on Sunday, 26 April 2026 for a relaxed and enjoyable Sunday Salamanca vibe.

Salamanca Market is always held on a Saturday, but over the Anzac Day weekend, out of respect for this special day, we are moving the market to the following day.

You can expect the same iconic market on Hobart's waterfront, with plenty of street food, buskers, arts and crafts and a warm friendly relaxed welcome from all of our stallholders.

The RSPCA will also be part of this special Sunday market, offering puppy parking for a small fee, so bring your best pal and make a day of it!

Our special Sunday market will have:

  • Same energy
  • Same amazing stallholders
  • Street food, buskers, arts, crafts
  • The Sunday Salamanca experience
  • Free face painting
  • So much more!

We are delighted to announce that Vanessa from Funny Face Hobart will be doing free face painting at our Sunday market. This will be a delightful activity for children and families to enjoy. Click the tab below to find more information.

M.T. Blues Music

M.T Blues have been performing festivals, live music venues and private functions around the state for the past 11 years.

Drawing Influence from the early Masters of the Delta Blues along with modern Rock and Blues artists, Matt and Troy have created their own unique sound.

They are a traditional style Delta Blues duo playing original compositions and covers from the 1920's onwards. Their music is popular with all ages.

Montz Matsumoto

Montz Matsumoto has been entertaining the Australian audiences for more than 20 years at festivals and venues with his spirited vocals and fine banjo playing. He was nominated for the Australian Folk Awards Instrumentalist of the Year 2025.

Felix Russell

With over 20 years of experience in the Hobart live music scene, this solo guitarist brings depth, authenticity and passion to every performance. Having previously performed with several well‑known local rock bands, including a European tour in 202, he now focuses exclusively on solo Spanish Flamenco guitar.

Flamenco is a powerful and expressive art form, born from the history and resilience of gypsy communities in Southern Spain. Rich in rhythm, emotion and storytelling, this music can move seamlessly between moods - fiery and intense, subtle and reflective - making it suitable for a wide range of events and settings.
