The story of Nitchi Design begun in 2006 and was started by Judy Holubnytschyj handcrafting timber photo frames from Tasmanian timber.

Since its humble beginnings, it has evolved into a business that employs several family members over 2 generations and each member of the family design, create and make the products.

On the stall every Saturday, you can find products such as timber notebooks, picture frames, artwork made from timber, timber prints, coasters, timber and stainless-steel rings and an array of small timber items. Products are handcrafted using old woodwork techniques through to digital machinery.

The objective of Nitchi Design is to produce timber products with a sleek and modern styling. All of the timber they use is sourced responsibly.

Nitchi Designs' ethos is:

"Our timbers are a limited resource and should be respected and every piece of timber used is created into a product to be enjoyed to last a lifetime with no wastage".
