Mineralia Tasmanica stock a wide variety of mineral specimens (both Tasmanian and overseas), fossils and gemstones. Carl's interest in geology and minerals originated from his first trip with his parents to Queenstown and the west coast of Tasmania when he was seven years old. There they fossicked in old mine dumps in the Zeehan and Dundas area. This has been a lifelong passion which continues to this day.
