Face masks

From 18 September 2021, masks are required to be worn at any event that has more than 1000 people in attendance, regardless of whether the event is seated or unseated, indoors or outdoors.

Face masks are now required at Tasmania's Own Market. Please bring your own reusable fabric face mask to wear at the market or use one of the disposable ones provided at the entrances.

More information from the State Government on when you are required to wear a face in Tasmania can be found here.

We would like to encourage people to use fabric face masks that can be washed and reused to reduce the amount of waste going to landfill. The market also has several stallholders that are making and selling face masks.
