All Cygnet Woodfired Bakehouse products are made using the best quality ingredients, sourced as close to the bakery as possible in Tasmania's Huon Valley using local farmers for the freshest fruits and vegetables and Tasmanian producers for the other ingredients. These baked goodies are made in-house and in small batches to ensure freshness and quality.
The Cygnet Woodfired Bakehouse makes its bread by hand - just as bread was made more than 400 years ago. Loaves are shaped by hand and baked in a woodfired oven. This gentle method of making bread produces subtle character differences every day to make this bread unique.
Be tempted with sweet and savoury pastries, croissants, tarts and quiches also made by the Cygnet Woodfired Bakehouse and make sure you try the Persian orange cake for a special treat. Breakfast is also taken care of with a range of muesli, both toasted and raw bircher.
