Lisa's studio practice focuses on porcelain tableware and sculptural objects, designed and handmade in in her studio by the sea in Tasmania. She has been practicing ceramics since 2001 and studied formally at both TAFE and University levels, completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Ceramics at Southern Cross University.

'Experimentation and technique development has allowed me to submerge my creativity in ceramics, honing my craft through many years of practice, research and learning through formalised teaching institutions and workshops.

'My creative ethos involves taking a hands-on approach to all aspects of my studio practice from design and mould making to casting, hand building, glazing, firing and decorating. Each design is produced in small, limited edition runs, giving each piece a unique handmade quality. In a world full of mass-produced ceramics, I create fine handmade porcelain pieces that are of highest quality, uniquely individual and reflect the mark of the Maker.'
