Paul Fleming is a Tasmanian-born photographer and writer, known for his flair for beautiful visual-storytelling photography and creative, engaging writing.
Paul is well-regarded for his knowledge of the island and presenting its charms and stories on the world stage, notably through his social media channels where his imagery and writing draw people deeper into the places and stories of Tasmania.
In 2016 Paul self-published his first book through a successful global crowd funding campaign and the assistance of Arts Tasmania. ‘PAUSE: A Collection of Tasmanian Moments’ is a compilation of his stunning photographs of Tasmania, with each image inspiring an original short story, expressed in captivating prose, which Paul also wrote. Bob Brown, retired Australian Senator, contributed the foreword for PAUSE.
PAUSE is not simply a book of incredible images, it is an invitation to slow down and encourages us to remember to ‘be’ in the moment more in our daily lives.
Paul offers signed copies of PAUSE at Salamanca Market each Saturday, as well as a range of prints of his images.
PAUSE is a full colour hardcover coffee-table style book, 8.5 x 11 in.
