Creative re-use workshop

colourwheel-pic.jpg

These workshops are part of Plastic Free July and will inspire you to recycle everyday objects and re-use them in creative way.

We are running two fun and educational workshops to help you to be creative with those things you might ordinarily throw away. You will learn how to use clothing, natural materials, textiles, wool and objects to make t-shirt bags, sculptures and original artworks.

The workshops are presented by the Resource Work Cooperative with all materials provided through Arts Parts at the South Hobart Tip Shop.

Two free workshops will be run on 13 July 2019 on the Salamanca lawns at the following times:

  • 10.30 - 11.30 am
  • 12 - 1 pm.

This activity is part of a Salamanca Market initiative to raise awareness of the effect of waste on our oceans and environment and is part of our month of activations during Plastic Free July and is a free activity for families.
