Beeswax wrap workshop

Ever wanted to try your hand at making your own beeswax wraps?

On 6 July we will be running two fun and educational workshops to help you learn how to make your own beeswax wraps.  Beeswax wraps can be re-used again and again for a variety of purposes and are one of the simple ways you can start to reduce plastic use within the kitchen and your home.

At these workshops you will:

  • learn about the impact of plastic pollution on the environment
  • dream up ideas for reducing plastic in the home
  • make your own beeswax wrap to take home
  • learn how to use and care for your wraps to help them last longer.

Two free workshops will be run on 6 July 2019 on the Salamanca lawns at the following times:

  • 10.30 - 11.30 am
  • 12.00 - 1 pm.

This activity is part of a Salamanca Market initiative to raise awareness of the effect of waste on our oceans and environment during Plastic Free July and is free.
