Meet the whisky distillers

 Whisky website banners 2022.jpg

Salamanca Market has some of the best whisky you will find in Tasmania. While you browse the market stalls, you can meet the distillers behind each bottle, chat to them about how their whisky is made and what it is about Tasmanian whisky that is so special. There's a story in every bottle.

Old Kempton Distillery

Old Kempton Distillery is located in the historic town of Kempton in the Southern Midlands.

Taylor & Smith Distilling Co

An artisan distillery only a few minutes from the Hobart city centre.

Spring Bay Distillery

Spring Bay Distillery is an award-winning craft distillery on Tasmania’s pristine east coast.

Whisky Tasting Trail

Take the whisky trail through the market and meet the makers.

7K Distillery

7K Distillery began as a tiny operation inside a shipping container atop a hill in Brighton.

The Neat Whisky Quiz

Test your knowledge, take the quiz, and you could win a bottle of Tasmanian whisky.
