We want your visit to Salamanca Market to be enjoyable and memorable for all of the right reasons.
To help you find your way around the Salamanca Market you can download the Salamanca Market Map (pdf)(PDF, 276KB). Please note that some market traders and their locations will vary each week.
The Salamanca Market operates every Saturday except in extreme weather conditions. Because you are visiting an outdoor market, you should plan to be suitably dressed for the weather, which can be unpredictable. To check the latest weather forecast visit the weather link page. If the market is cancelled for any reason, an alert will be published on the Salamanca Market Facebook page.
No smoking policy
Salamanca Market is a designated smoke-free area and smoking is not permitted.
Dogs and pets
Dogs and pets are not allowed within the Salamanca Market, however there is a 'puppy parking' service. Owners can leave their dogs under the supervision of RSPCA volunteers for a maximum of two hours for the cost of a donation that goes directly to the RSPCA. Find out more here: Puppy parking
Please leave all other pets at home.
Salamanca Market does not supply plastic bags. We recommend that you bring your own bag to the market or purchase an environmentally friendly Salamanca Market hessian bag from the information booth.
